Believe in yourself, you are braver than you think, more talented than you know, and capable of more than you can imagine. I truly believe that God has bestowed immense talent and ability in each one of us. What’s rare is the courage to follow it to the dark places where it leads. I belong to a middle-class family that hailed from a small town in the midst of Uttar Pradesh called Hathras.
As a child I had always dreamt of being an Engineer, but as it is said that “your destiny takes you to the better place”, eventually you end up where you need to be and doing what you should be doing. Being a Science student, CA wasn’t under my plan, but my father, who is an Ex – Banker, played a vivacious role in indicating this career. And with his blessings, optimism and family support, I qualified my Chartered Accountancy Exam in the November’ 1996 attempt.
My first employment was with Uflex Ltd., a place where I earned more than four years of experience that created the distinction in me. However, there was always a yearning in me of justifying the revered profession and I grabbed an encouraging pace to introduce myself as CA Practitioner. As a proprietorship firm, named as Agarwal Atul & Associates, I entered in the world of practice in 1999 and was fortunate enough to get prestigious clients such as DS Group, Uflex Group, National Institute of Open Schooling, Investors’ Clinic Group, Central Board of Secondary Education, Public Sector Banks & undertakings, along with many more.
I have been a struggling trooper since my childhood. This convention prepared me to dare about the CA profession. It was always my father’s dream to see his son as an entrepreneur. Today when I look back, I appreciate the kind of impetus I received from my father and my family. My chasing journey was full of thrilling experiences and treasures.
At present, my firm M/s. A AA M & CO LLP stands as a category-I firm with proficiency in Audit & Assurance Services, Internal Audit, Company Law Matters, Statutory & Concurrent Audits of Banks, Direct Tax Laws, GST and other allied Advisory Services although it took around 20 years of hardship to get established in an exceptional way. Today we have several renowned clients including public sector undertakings, corporates and non – corporate clients including Foreign Companies which give pride to our presence in market.
